The MMS is the core of Dubai Metro Asset Management System and is considered strategic to deliver the world-class performance level.  The MMS Solution Architect Manager will be the overall lead for the Asset, Maintenance and other Information Management Systems for Service Provider’s Dubai Metro organisation.  He will work within the The Maintenance Integrated and Logistics System (MILS) team under the lead of the MILS team manager and will manage a team of two Information Management Tools technicians.

This position is classified by the RTA (the client)as a “Key Employee” position with special requirements attached.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for gatekeeping the asset, work, inventory, procurement and services business processes within the MMS and any other tools.


  • Ensure of the completeness and accuracy of information in MMS.


  • Responsible for standardizing and improving the business processes and supporting data analysis across all business functions.


  • Responsible for efficient and effective utilization of all Information Management Tools.


  • Ensure that adequate technical support is available to manage, maintain and improve the Maintenance Management System and other information management tools.


  • Coordinate with and support the stakeholders like Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Asset Performance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and the Client.


  • As a Key Employee, the MMS Solution Architect Manager Asset is considered as key to the success of the implementation and/or operation of the Services.


Key Employee special requirements :


  • May not work for any other business (including Affiliates) while employed by the Service Provider as a Key Employee


  • Subject to prior written approval of RTA


  • The voluntary termination of this position is subject to special conditions regarding delays and replacement.


  • Subject to direct assessment from RTA that the continued engagement is effectively in the best interests of the Railway


  • The role will develop a collaborative working mood with the Client and the other maintenance departments: Centralised Asset Management and Engineering team (CAME) and maintenance delivery teams.


  • The role will collaborate with managers and experts from the wider Keolis, MHIE and MC Groups to develop engineering capability


  • The role will develop appropriate Individual Development Plans for Information Management Tools technicians.


Key Skills


  • Engineering/technical background with very good knowledge of Maximo CMMS and business functions.


  • Capacity to efficiently work with all levels of technical and managerial hierarchies of the organization.


  • Key personal traits; Forward thinking, well organized, proactive, sound judgement, innovative, driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence


  • Ability to influence wider organizational culture through systemic, sustainable approaches


  • Excellent written, verbal and presentational skills




  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a successful Asset, Maintenance and other Information Management Systems manager in a metro / light rail environment


  • Comprehensive understanding of metro maintenance activities and advanced maintenance approaches to deliver operational excellence


  • Ability to represent Keolis as a credible ambassador to regulatory bodies, the client and senior stakeholders


  •  Fluent in English
