Missions

 

Within the Central Asset Management and Engineering (CAME) department, the Asset Management System (AMS) manager is responsible for the implementation of Dubai Metro Asset Management System. He/She will be the key actor for ISO 55001 standard implementation and certification in Dubai Metro organization.

 

The main missions of the Metro AMS Manager are:

  • Develop and implement Asset Management System in Dubai Metro organization compliant with the ISO 55001 standard
  • Develop new maintenance & asset management standards and make changes to existing standards
  • Key documents periodical update (Asset Management Plan, Strategic Plan for Asset Management)
  • Delivery of internal awareness training and communications sessions for leaders, managers and senior staff members to help them understand the strategy and benefits
  • Engagement of external suppliers to conduct pre-audit assessments
  • Strengthening asset management capability and leadership through targeted recruitment and professional development
  • Lead the process to ISO 55001 certification within 2 years following Commencement date (sept. 2021)
  • Ensure all the maintenance teams are involved in the certification journey and maintaining asset management capability by developing an Asset Management culture in the whole company
  • The role will collaborate with managers and experts from the wider Keolis, MHIE and MC Groups to develop engineering capability
  • The role will develop appropriate Individual Development Plans for the two Asset Management specialists in his/her team.

 

Profile

 

Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance and asset management of a metro / light rail system within a complex railway organization

Comprehensive understanding of new maintenance approaches (Predictive maintenance, maintenance 4.0) to deliver operational excellence

Experience of successfully implementing change in a demanding environment

Experience of successfully implementing asset management system and, at best, ISO 55001 certification

The ability to represent Keolis as a credible ambassador to regulatory bodies, the client and senior stakeholders

Will be fluent in English
