The role contributes to the effective functioning of the Joint Commercial Unit (JCU) by assisting with day-to-day retail coordination, access management, documentation, and stakeholder communication in line with approved procedures and safety requirements.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic & Governance Support

  1. Support day-to-day retail coordination activities across the railway network in accordance with established procedures.
  2. Assist in managing retailer access requests, inductions, and safety permit applications in coordination with Operations and Safety teams.
  3. Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to retailer activities, access approvals, and correspondence.
  4. Support station site visits for retailers and prospective tenants, including preparation of documentation and briefings.
  5. Update and maintain retail databases, handbooks, and operational records.

Financial & Commercial Support

  1. Actively assist the client for letting retail space on Dubai Metro per the Service Agreement with RTA.
  2. Support retail team to meet committed obligations, enhance retailer activities, and boost retail revenue.
  3. Support day-to-day retail coordination activities linked to retail space utilisation and tenant operations.
  4. Assist in monitoring retail unit status, fit-out progress, and operational readiness.
  5. Support administrative aspects of retail agreements, permits, and commercial correspondence.
  6. Assist in preparing routine reports related to retail performance and activities.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

  1. Act as a coordination point for routine retailer operational queries.
  2. Liaise with internal departments (Station Operations, Engineering & Maintenance, Projects, Safety) to facilitate retailer access and support.
  3. Support effective communication between retailers, RTA representatives, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Assist in managing retailer feedback, complaints, and operational issues, escalating non-routine matters where required.

 

Operational Responsibilities

  1. Attend meetings on retail project issues with RTA and Keolis MHI internal stakeholders.
  2. Coordinate retailer access, inductions, and safety permit requirements in line with railway procedures.
  3. Arrange and support station site visits for retailers and prospective tenants.
  4. Maintain and update operational records, access logs, fault logs, and retailer databases.
  5. Support coordination of retail fit-out and maintenance activities to minimise operational impact.
  6. Share operational and safety-related information with retailers to ensure compliance.

Education

  • Ideally a degree holder or high diploma of post-secondary education in a business, management administration or any related discipline.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail leasing, tenant coordination, fit-out supervision, or commercial operations.
  • Experience working in structured or regulated environments (e.g. transport, malls, infrastructure, large public venues).
