Support the organisation in fostering a Just Culture and promote the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff, assets and environment.Working with the Risk and QHSE Data Advisor and the Risk and QHSE Data Manager to process the incident data and generate reports to a high quality and for the production of the risk analysis, trending and timely reporting. Provide comprehensive QHSE support to functional departments in the analyses of the incidents and trends. Support the development and implementation of operational safety performance standards and indicators in line with the requirements of the Integrated Management System.

 

  MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the quality of the safety incidents data in the Assure database or other databases used by the company.
  • Assist with the inputting of the data into the Assure database and reporting on the safety incidents data.
  • Produce daily incident logs, weekly, monthly and annual reports.
  • Produce ad hoc reports and analysis of incidents as requested.
  • Assist with the use of Q-Pulse risk, trends and bow tie analysis of risk.
  • Comply with relevant legislations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate when required in development training and induction programs relating to QHSE.
  • Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the line manager and/or the Risk and Data Manager or the QHSE Director
  • Ensure compliance with the Keolis MHI Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.
  • Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis MHI non-disclosure policy
  • To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis MHI organisational QHSE responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process.

 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Proficient in current software, programs, & systems. In particular, MS packages & Business Intelligence tools used by Keolis-MHI.
  • Working knowledge of QHSE principles & terminology.
  • Basic understanding of the Keolis-MHI business in Dubai (metro & tram)

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in accurate data processing and report generation.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in rail operations or a similar transport environment.

 

EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally a higher diploma or equivalent in Engineering or a Science discipline
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent is desirable
